Manufacturing process of forgings
The production process of forgings includes the following main steps:
Blank preparation: Select suitable metal blanks, such as metal bars or ingots.
Heating: Select hot forging, warm forging or cold forging as needed. Hot forging is carried out above the recrystallization temperature, warm forging is carried out at a suitable temperature below the recrystallization temperature, and cold forging is carried out at room temperature.
Applying pressure: Applying pressure to the blank through forging equipment to cause plastic deformation.
Forming: The blank is formed in the die to obtain the required geometry and internal quality.
