The maintenance of die castings mainly includes the following aspects:
Storage and cleaning: Aluminum alloy die castings should be stored in a dry, dust-free and pollution-free environment, and the air humidity should be kept within 50%. Use a soft cloth, soft brush or soft duster to remove dust. If washing is required, distilled water or heated neutral soap should be used.
Chemical treatment and protection: Dirt should be removed before storage, and chemical treatment maintenance agents should be used. Cleaned die castings can be protected with chemical protective agents or paraffin coatings. The modern method is to use silicone sealants.
Mold maintenance: Clean the mold surface and cooling circulation water pipes regularly to keep them clean and smooth. Check and repair or replace damaged parts. If the mold is found to be damaged, it should be repaired immediately and by professionals.
Temperature control: During use, the mold needs to maintain a stable temperature. Too high or too low will affect its life and production efficiency. The appropriate temperature should be selected according to the actual situation and kept stable.
Regular inspection and record: Regularly inspect aluminum alloy die-casting molds and keep corresponding records for tracking and analysis.
Maintenance methods for die-casting parts:
Daily maintenance: including cleaning debris on the machine and all dust and dirt on the sliding surface, checking and keeping the oil level in the lubricating oil tank normal, and ensuring lubrication of parts at all times. Check whether the liquid level and pipeline in the hydraulic oil tank are leaking, whether the connecting fasteners are loose; check whether the pressure gauge indication is normal, whether the safety device and travel switch are normal; check whether the pressure, hydraulic oil temperature and color of the hydraulic system are normal; check whether the cooling system is normal; check whether the machine has abnormal vibration and noise during operation, and deal with it in time.
Weekly maintenance, quarterly maintenance and annual maintenance: including checking whether the hinge part of the machine is lubricated in place, whether the mold adjustment gear is worn, whether the meter indication of the injection part is normal, whether the ejection and neutron mechanism are smooth, etc. Replace the hydraulic oil and clean the oil tank once a year. If necessary, clean the oil cylinder, oil circuit board and valve bodies; clean the water tower and cooler once a quarter.
